Keep Away from iOS 8.3 Right Now
The operating system for smart phone – iOS 8 was released by Apple on April 8, 2015. Although it offers some new and useful features, we don’t recommend an update at present, especially when it is a jailbroken one. The reasons are as follows:
- The jailbreak is still NOT AVAILABLE right now. Update to iOS 8.3 will remove all the apps installed via Cydia, for example, iKeyMonitor.
- Some problems are reported by iPhone and iPad users, such as Touch ID, battery life issues, keyboard freezes and more.
- Some file manage apps cannot be used with the new iOS 8.3, like PhoneView, iFunBox, etc. due to its increasingly strict policy.
It is suggested to hold off upgrading to iOS 8.3 until Apple has a chance to address bugs reported, or there is an untethered jailbreak available if you are an iKeyMonitor user.
